Nominations are now being taken and the products nominated will be announced next week.

All I can say is congrats and I am am glad it is you and not me. You have a fun and tough job ahead of you.

May  - Initial draft of nominations ready for Board of Experts
May - June - Judges nominate products
June 25 - July 16  - Late draft of nominations available for public input
July 21 – Nominations frozen
July 21 – Last date new release of nominee product eligible
July 23 - July 31 – Handango supplies registration codes to judges
Aug 1 - Sept 3 – Judges evaluate software and vote
Mid September- Nominations published in Oct/Nov issue of Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine
Late September - Finalists announced on-line at this site
Late October - Winners announced at this site
November 12 - Winners and finalists published in 2009 Smartphone & Pocket PC Buyers Guide

So yes, I will be busy during August !! I just signed up for five categories as I didn't want to take on too much in my first year. There are many many more categories.

Oh Oh - I'm in trouble - this could be even harder than I thought.

I decided to try Novii Remote. Can't be that difficult to set up, I thought. It's much more complex than I realised. Not something I can do while watching Dr. Phil. I'm off to read the user's guide...........

I imagined that it would be something like Nevo which came on the iPAQ 5450 - but I suppose things have progressed a bit since then, This application looks way more powerful than that - should be interesting.
