    Windows Mobile 10?

Brighthand is wondering if we are seeing a possible Windows Mobile 10 ???

A new science-fiction series includes one of the characters using a very advanced smartphone running someone's concept of a future version of Windows Mobile.

Windows Mobile 10The Gemini Division is produced by NBC, but it's available only online. The first webisode starts off with the lead character, played by Rosario Dawson, using an ultra-slim device that's clearly labeled with the Windows Mobile logo.

The touchscreen-oriented user interface is only on camera for a few seconds, but it's enough to show the user running through many of Microsoft's online services.

Those who would like to get a sneak peek as something that probably won't be on the market before 2013 can do so on NBC's website.

The concept Windows Mobile device appears at the very beginning of the first episode, Eyes Wide Open.

I finally got a chance to check out this episode! And while I don't know about the UI or OS, I DO know that the physical device shown on screen is mostly CG. There's a moment just after we see the interface Laura captured above, when the character walks over to sit down on the bed. She's carrying the device, and right when she sits down, it's clearly not moving as if she's really carrying it. I'm almost certain it was added in post-production.

I also have to add: Wow, the acting is pretty dismal in this!

I must agree but the "future communication" technology is good!
