    Ich kann mein Problem leider nur auf deutsch schildern:

    Mit meinem HTC Touch Cruise (Windows Mobile 6 Professional) hat die Synchronisierung mit zwei PC (beide Windows XP und Office Outlook) bisher einwandfrei funktioniert. Jetzt habe ich das von htc angebotene ROM-Update auf Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional gemäß Anleitung durchgeführt. Seitdem funktioniert die Synchronisierung nicht mehr. Es er***die Fehlermeldung: "86000107". Wenn ich folgenden sehr zeitaufwendigen Prozess durchführe, funktioniert die Synchronisierung auf dem entsprechenden PC (auf dem anderen PC jedoch nicht!): Ich entferne alle Häkchen bei den Datensätzen (Kalender, Kontakte usw.), die synchronisiert werden sollen und synchronisiere dann. Jetzt setze ich alle Häkchen wieder und synchronisiere erneut. Nun sind die Daten auf diesem PC synchronisiert. Bei dem zweiten PC muss ich diesen Ablauf ebenfalls vornehmen, um synchronisieren zu können, dann funktioniert aber die Synchronisierung bei dem ersten PC nicht mehr und ich muss hier wieder wie beschrieben vorgehen und so geht das immer weiter hin und her. In Internetforen habe ich festgestellt, dass mein Problem viele andere ebenfalls haben. Funktionierende Ratschläge gibt es nicht. Falls es keine Lösung für mein Problem gibt, möchte ich wieder zu Windows Mobile 6.0 zurück kehren. Geht das und wie macht man das? Herzlichen Dank!!!

    Welcome, dogezei. If I understand your post correctly (sorry - I don't speak German), you are experiencing the same issue we've been discussing: You're unable to synchronize your WM 6.1 device with two PCs. As a result, you're wondering if you can return your phone to the WM 6.0 operating system.  

    The answer: There is no official WM 6.0 ROM available for the HTC Touch Cruise.

    This leaves you with a couple of options: Contact HTC technical support directly to see if they can provide more information about a fix for the issue (AKU 1.2), or use the suggested workaround above, which is keep the number of changes you attempt to sync under 100. According to the WM development team, syncing any data type with more than 100 changes causes the error.

    Below is the post from microsoft forum that fixed my 86000107 error:
     
    I found a solution that works for me absolutely reliable. I deleted the partnership for one PC at the MDA and the PC and rebooted/soft rested both! Then I deleted all items that I sycronize on the same PC also in Outlook.Then I established a new partnership with this PC and after sychronisation all item were back in Outlook and I never received that nasty error again!
     
    I did the following:
     
    1. Deleted partnerships on both PC1 and PC2 as well as my WM6.1 device
    2. Deleted all items that I syncronize in PC2 Outlook
    3. Establish partnership with PC1
    4. Establish partnership with PC2 (this step restored all my deleted items)
     
    This is the only solution I found to work for me.

    Welcome htcuser777 - Thanks for this valuable input - could you clarify exactly what you mean here especially in step 2 - do you mean that you deleted all OUTLOOK data from device or from PC2 ?

     I just wanted to Crying chime in with my frustration with this same issue. I am running Windows Ultimate with my AT&T Tilt (HTC). Everything was flawless until I was also syncing with an exchange server. It actually worked for about a couple of weeks and now it will not sync to the Exchange. So I have ended the partnership with the Exchange (which is a pain when it comes to keeping my schedule up to date.

     

    I am looking forward to a solution, thanks for keeping this dicussion up as this seems to be the exact problem I am facing and it is actually up to date.

    I am also now experiencing this problem and would like be notified if a solution rears its head.  I am running Vista Ultimate SP1, Office 2007, windows mobile 6.1 Pro and WMDC 6.1.6965.  I upgraded my Verizon Wireless xv6800 (made by HTC) to the windows mobile 6.1 Pro two weeks ago from a link on the verizon wireless website.  Since then, the same sync problem comes up.  I initially was able to sync PC 1, then laptop 1 no problem.  When I go back to PC1, no dice - same error code message.  After research, I discovered the fix mentioned in AKU 1.2.  I immediately contacted Verizon Wirelss technical help and below is what I received from them.  Needless to say, it wasn't very helpful.  Can anyone tell me when this was released to the manufacturers and what their delay in implementation might be?  I also contacted them about going back to Mobile 6.0, but no joy on that one, either.  Regarding Verizon's reply below, if it was native to WMDC 6.1, then why did it work fine with mobile 6.0 and not 6.1?  I'm really frustrated in not being able to sync calendar's with my wife.

    One other question that I was thinking about.  Obviously, with these problems, I did not upgrade my wife's phone and left it running mobile 6.0.  All other software is the same between the two computers.  Could this be a possible cause of this problem?

    I have just sent the following email to HTC:

    I got my Sprint Mogul in April and was able to sync with 2 PCs. In July, I upgraded to WM 6.1 and now I can't sync to to PCs - I get "active sync encountered a problem on the desktop Support Code 86000107" every time I connect to the 2nd PC. Please see this thread at WindowsMobile: http://www.windowsmobiletraining.com/Connection/forums/t/1708.aspx and this thread at Microsoft Connect: https://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/Workaround.aspx?FeedbackID=354634&SiteID=502  Microsoft says:  This is a known issue and fixed in AKU1.2 and it must be made available by the manufacturer.
    Will HTC be making this fix available soon?

    I've also experienced this problem.  I got so tired of Activesync's (WMDC) errors on my two Vista machines I took the radical rout.

    1) I took the first computer (a laptop) and ONLY install Vista Home Premium, Office 2007 and the necessary drivers.

    2) I took the second computer (a desktop) and ONLY installed Vista Ultimate, Office 2007 and the necessary drivers.

    3) I took my HTC Touch (6900) and did a hard reset to revert back to factory settings.  The ROM was already updated to Windows Mobile 6.1.

    4) I created an appointment on the laptop (Vista Home Premium) and synchronized with my HTC Touch which went fine.

    5) I then synchronized my HTC Touch with my desktop (Vista Ultimate) and it also went fine.

    6) I then created a second appointment, this time on the desktop (Vista Ultimate) and synchronized with my HTC Touch which went fine.

    7) I then tried to sync to my laptop (Vista Home Premium) and now I get the error "activesync encountered a problem on the desktop support code: 86000107"

    NOTE...Even though I get the 86000107 error, synchronization still works.  I can add, remove and change any item and they synchronize!!  BUT now I ALWAYS get the 86000107 error.

    Microsoft needs to STEP UP and take responsibility!Angry

    We understand you need all the information to best utilize your device. After researching this error, we would like to recommend creating a new .PST file. If you are not familiar with how to do this here are the steps to do so:

    Currently, our developers have to work with Sprint and Microsoft to determine when and if a ROM upgrade will be available. Unfortunately, there is no estimated time for availability of any ROM update. Please check the HTC America website for any software updates that may be released, http://www.htc.com/us.  Just click on the support link then choose your device.

    Welcome, rvrrtek, and thanks for the info. It sounds as if you ran into the error with two completely clean PCs and a clean phone, with only two appointments in Outlook - is that correct? If so, it certainly sounds like you've found an additional scenario where the bug occurs.

    But in any case, I believe Microsoft has indeed fixed the bug and released the fix to OEMs. At this point, unfortunately, we're all dependent on the manufacturers and/or carriers to decide when and how to release the fix, if at all. And as you'll notice in this thread, a number of us have been following up with them, but coming up with nothing so far. I wish the news was better!

    Thanks, Kathleen. I think this confirms that some kind of fix may be available in the future, although time frame and actual availability remain big question marks.
