You can now see two great-looking new devices from HP at their UK site. The HP iPAQ Data Messenger is a touchscreen Pro device with sliding QWERTY keyboard, and the HP iPAQ Voice Messenger is a 20-key Standard device. (We were alerted to these by wmpoweruser.com.) Some (wmexperts, for example) are saying that these match the old rumored devices called the "Silver" and "Oak."

 hopefully they have changed from the microphones they used in the HP iPAQ rw6828,  That thing sounded like the other person was talking into a tin can that was in a bigger can that was sitting inside a convertible that was falling to earth at terminal velocity.  I did like the little jukebox style speakers on the sides though. HP's have generally been pretty stable firmware builds too, it would be interesting to see the feedback these get.
