    "Why Windows Mobile?" articles

There are lots of articles and reviews out there that do a good job of making a fair, informed case for Windows Mobile - whether by itself or in relation to competitors like Apple and RIM. Perhaps we can start capturing them in this thread? Be a cheerleader if you must, but more importantly, share what you know!

Here's a wonderful essay I found while researching something else. It was part of the "Smartphone Round Robin" at WMExperts. Reviewer Dieter Bohn and several other mobility experts traded phones over the courses of several weeks, and so got a taste of the entire smartphone marketplace through day-to-day experience. Very cool! Needless to say, Dieter was VERY happy to come back to his WM phone.

WOW - that is a great article - great find, Bill - I particularly like the part where Dieter points out, "Windows Mobile will work on a wide... a crazy-wide selection of different form factors..............................".

Here's another great article I found on Infosync World. It covers the top five Windows Mobile capabilities versus the competition. According to author Philip Berne, these are:

    1. Scheduling and productivity
    2. Searching for contacts and other stuff
    3. Tehered modem support
    4. Device variety
    5. Customization options

Read the article and let us know what you think!

And another! Here's a second "top 5" list - this time, Computerworld covers the top five reasons WM still rules for business!

    1. Manageability and security
    2. Network and deployment
    3. Tech support
    4. Application ecosystem
    5. Cost and carrier choice

Check it out and be sure to report back!
