The Touch Diamond, with a few carrier tweaks,  is now available from T-Mo in the UK as their MDA Compact IV. Check it out. Pricing looks pretty nice, as well!

If you try to find this brand new phone from their homepage, you have you go to the 8th page of the mobile list.

If you sort the phones by make and select T-Mobile, they have this as the third option below the old version.

They are also using probably the worst quality, blurry image that they could find.

A brand new phone, better than an iPhone, and absolutely no advertising on their site.

This is so strange.

The Orange UK website is also showing the HTC Diamond, although as yet it is still Out Of Stock.

But, yet again, searching for it shows that they have it listed on the last page of each search.

There is at least this advert on the offers page:

Tmobile have never been that good at advertising WM devices but with their pink branding they use on devices I'm not surprised lol.

There certainly seems to be a mixed responce to the diamond though, some people do not like the interface and think it's slow and not positive when trying to use the touchflo system but others sing its prasies as the next best thing.

I only know of one person so far who has decided to return the device because they have not got on with it.
