When it comes to WM devices, being media centric device i.e music, movies and video wasnt high on the list of things to postion to business people. The fact that Apple launched such a media centric device then a year later turn around and launch the same device again but this time aim at the business world. So to me and rest of the mobile world is something new.

I don't think Apple really aimed the Iphone at the business market but it was picked up by a lot of business users and they complained (rightly so) about the lack of business email support. When you look into the implementation of EAS on the IPhone it looks hurried to me. I wouldn't be surprised if the EAS implementation was a knee jerk response to the original Iphone complaints.
