Recived my GPS reciever today. I decided to go with an Visiontec V GPS-700. Man it was easy to setup and works very well with Live search. I love the arial view while driving.

I am installing some other GPS software and maps as I am typing and am really looking forward to playing with this more. This setup with MM 6.0 pro gets a big thumbs up from me.

One other thing. It came with Tom Tom software but it is in Chinese. Any idea how I can change the language to english? It is using a true type font file for the Chinese language. If I can't change this I guess I go to school to learn Chinese. Never was much good at school.

    Re: GPS

That is the languge pack that was on the SD chip with the software provided. I searched most of last night for and English pack to replace it with but I must be looking in the wrong places because I can't seem to find what i am looking for. The software is Tom Tom and it works well Just I can't read it. Anyway the receiver works great with live search so I guess i will just use it.

    Re: GPS

If you go to the TomTom site and download TomTom home you should be able then download the latest TomTom client in the language of your choice to your device. See more here:

AFAIK it's the maps that are paid for and licenced these days so updating the client shouldn't be an issue.
