Orange Finds the Best WiFi Hotspots for Work Near You

Orange has been scouring the UK, developing a detailed directory of hotspot locations for all towns and cities, big and small. By entering your postcode in to the search bar on the Orange WiFi workplaces site, http://orange.hotspot-directory.com/top100/results.php you will receive a list of the ten best places for wireless working nearest to you. Clicking on one of the locations will take you directly to a map and include the full address and contact details of the hotspot location.

See the full article at Mobileburn.com.

O2 UK also offer a WiFi Directory for the access points to The Cloud.

O2 found 47 with the first 5 miles, 103 within 10 miles and 217 within 20 miles. This gave a list of 10 sites per page with the name of the hotspot, its distance and its location. clicking on a location gives further information including a map, direction and full contact details. It also lists other sites from that location (incase their connection is down I guess).

Oranges, shows you a Google Map shot with a pin point for each, you would have to click on each to get any further details. The map view also becomes tricky in the main cities when they overlap eachother and you have to really zoom in before you can differentiate between each hotspot.

I would like to see a HotSpot Directory in Windows Live Search.
