The only thing that they have going for them right now are new versions of the Q.  The RAZR/v8/V9/Z8/Z9/Z6 line is stale.  Only ads I have seen are for the Z6 on T-Mob.

I just really dont understand how Motorola has stayed with the same line up for so many years. And on top of that kept the V3 at a higher price even after it was consider a entry level phone. i use Motorola because I think the Q9c is a great PDA device, but I can truely say that I get more out of using my Samsung A727 and my Blackjack I. When it comes to the mobile industry, the things that worked for you years ago... even months ago have to be rethinked. Great job posting a profit Moto, but customers are still waiting for the next best thing from you. Not just the next alternative V3 to roll out.

I still love my Razr and it is still the original one that I bought the day it was released - I bought two - one for me and one for my son - they were $500 each. Then I even bought another one at $500 for a friend. Now looking back, I can't believe that I spent that much money for just phones......but I still love my Razr.

I wasn't in the phone biz when the RAZR was released but I worked at a car dealership that had a cell phone store in it. Man the hype around that phone was amazing. I couldn't believe people were spending the money for it. Sure was a good run for the RAZR though. I wonder if any other phone will even put up the numbers moto did with it?
