HTC Touch Pro Coming Soon to Vodafone UK!

CoolSmartPhone.com had this tip today: Vodafone UK has just launched a "Coming Soon" page for the HTC Touch Pro, the eagerly-anticipated big brother of the Touch Diamond. It's being featured only in the Business Centre at the moment. Stay tuned!

I just happen to have a Voda UK contract up for renewal right now. I could well be tempted........

One of my mates has a Pro already though and he says compared to the Kaiser the keyboard on the Touch Pro is utterly rubbish.  So much so that he's gone back to the Kaiser already. Maybe something to try before I buy.

Hmm..that's strange. Both devices come from the same company, HTC, so I would imagine a new model would come with a better keyboard feedback. But on the other hand, HTC disspointed a lot of people when it released their latest HTC Advantage model with the flat keyboard. People preferred the older HTC Advantage's keyboard than the new one (I still have no clue why they decided to make the keyboard totally flat?).

They seem to have made a similar chage of keyboard on the Xperia X1, which also has a flattened keyboard.

The first thought to mind is that it will reduce on the dimensions.

I gues that since the LG Chocolate, people have been asking for buttons which look as though they are part of the chasis of the phone. Using flatter keys is another way of ataining this.

I'm surprised the new Advantage keyboard was worse than the old one. I thought the old one was very weak. Spectrum-esque.
