    Outlook Email Attachments

I have run into a problem Syncing with Corporate Exchange Server.  All works fine except being able to view attachments. I have tried using internal storage as well as the storage card but I can not view the files.  Click download attachment and it's downloaded, per the prompts, but the temporary download file name is retained and it cannot be open by the appropriate application.

Am I missing a step or is there really a problem with WM6 and email attachments?

I don't use Exchange, but a POP3 account. But I am using WM6 and I am able to read my attachments. What file types are these attachments?

I would check with your IT dept. I am guessing they have blocked some types of attachments.

Can you also confirm if this is Over-the-air or cradled?

    Re: Outlook Email Attachments

    Answer

I reflashed my phone and the attachments are now showing up as they should once I download them.  I can only assume there was something that did not go as it should have that caused the problem.  At any rate, all is now well with the email attachemtns.

     Thanks all

Good to hear it is fixed, shame it was so drastic.

Make sure you keep an eye on it and if it ever happens again, note down everything you had performed on the device prior to it, it may also be a simple explanation!
