    HTC Diamond: Collected Links

As they say in my home state of New Jersey - "Oh snap!"

The HTC Diamond (with WM 6.1), officially announced today, looks just awesome. And of course, it's getting coverage, and fairly positive reviews, everywhere: "Nifty," "impressive interface," etc. To me, the new interface looks excellent - HTC seem to be getting better and better at re-inventing what WM looks like. Here are a few good links I collected:

It really is impressive ....Removing the Stylus turns the device on...Now that's pretty cool!

    That looks awsome.

Now, if I can just convince my manager that I need one...

The Diamond is undeniably a good looking device. It's also as powerful in terms of connectivity as the TyTN II/Tilt, but the battery capacity at 900 mAh is a shame. Plus no keyboard.

I like the TouchFlo 3D though.

    Re: HTC Diamond: Collected Links

I must agree I was shocked and the 900 maH battery. I just finished sending emails to all my vendors getting a feel for who will have the extended batterfy for this device. I also am dissapointed no keyboard....I think I may have to get one and frame it in my office with a sign on it "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" Big Smile

    Re: HTC Diamond: Collected Links

Let's face it, the Touch Diamond with its glossy look just does not have its place in the business/enterprise world, like a certain i-something.

     Just my thoughts...

PocketPCThoughts.com has a good article comparing the iPhone and the HTC Diamond here.

PocketPCThoughts has a great video of Horace Luke discussing the cool features of the HTC Diamond. Horace Luke used to work for Microsoft's Windows Mobile team before moving to HTC where he is now the Chief Innovation Officer.
