    Registry Tricks?

    Hello-

    Brand new around here.

My HTC Mogul has the usual QVGA screen and I'm hoping to maximize the usable space on the display. Are there any known registry mods that will reduce the width of the scroll bars so more of the webpage can display on the browser?

    Thanks in advance.

The best registry MOD application is freeware and it is from SCHAPS, hosted in XDA-DEVELOPERS forum

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=367043 It should have ALSO the scroll bar width  size choser

    Re: Registry Tricks?

I also went through my onenote scrap book and found the XDA dev reference to the scroll bar thickness registry entries (For WM5 mind you.)

    For the horizontal (bottom) scrollbar:

    HKLM\System\GWE\cyHScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)

    For the vertical (right) scrollbar:

    HKLM\System\GWE\cxVScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)

The default thickness is 13. You can set the value to pretty much anything you like

Edit:: Found this too. may be handy, for the scroll arrows.

Change the length of scrollbar arrow buttons

To go with changing the thickness of the scrollbars, you may wish to change the length of the scrollbar arrow buttons...
For the horizontal (bottom) scrollbar arrows:

    HKLM\System\GWE\cyVScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)

    For the vertical (right) scrollbar:

    HKLM\System\GWE\cxHScr = 9 (DWORD decimal)

The default length is 13. You can set the value to pretty much anything you like
