Every provider I know of offers these texts FREE, plus if you sign up on the website, you can put in up to 5 ZIP codes to monitor.

Please sign up.  We don't know who can be saved unless we know there's a problem.

Europe is also looking to setup these same Amber Alert texts.

This is good news. I hope they do it soon. It has saved a number of children that I know of in the last few years.

 This weekend I sold an unlimited SMS package because of AMBER Alerts.

The customer came up with the idea that "If I get something as important as missing children alerts via text, I might as well start using it for other stuff."

I love it when my customers draw their own conclusions. ;)

That's great - I have had 3 of these AMBER alerts in the last few months.

In the UK, we currently only have a newsflash, which reports this over TV and Radio.

We are still waiting on a text based system.
