DOJ:Verizon must divest its assets in all of Vermont
How does selling up completely within an error allow for competition? Surely removing Verizon completey removes competion from their competitors?
Wirelessweek.com:Verizon Wireless announced a much larger acquisition last week, saying
it has agreed to purchase Alltel Wireless for $5.9 billion. Should that
deal go through, Verizon would become the country’s largest wireless
carrier. That deal will also require approval from the DOJ and the FCC.
If a company outsizes all other competitors, as long it is regulated and does not outprice the competition, can it then be allowed to increase in size?
