Looks like it's going to have to be the Diamond for me. It's SO much more compact.

I could see a Diamond in my future for sure. I use a 6800 now and probably would end up missing my keyboard. I guess I am still a bit old school.

I just upgraded my Q9C to the 6.1 update... And loving it!! Which device you think will be comparible to my Q's functionality? I'm thinking Diamond as well.

    Hi Mayhem.

If your looking to move to Windows Mobile Professional and you like the candy bar form and and a full qwerty keyboard, I would go with the Samsung i780.

Here are the specs and here is a great review.

I just picked up a Diamond. I'm fully impressed wth it too. Other than it taking me 3 hours to fill the 4GB of storage I think I've pretty much found my perfect device. Right now, for me, I think it's the best WM device ever.

I can live without the keyboard so it's not going to be the device for me...... unless it goes on a diet! Wink

For me, the keyboard of the Touch Pro adds too much size and the lack of a storage card on the the Diamond switches that off for me as well.

Both devices look fantastic, but have one major feature missing each which I look for, shame.

I must admit I wondered about the lack of SD card, but then I thought, "when do I actually take the SD cards out of the device" and realised I very very rarely do, and even then it's only to transfer data to and from the PC (because AS and WMDC are just not good enough). Ideally I'd have preferred 8GB to 4GB on the internal storage, but I can live with 4GB until the Diamond 2 comes out. Big Smile

This was a question that I posed myself, but I have three cards. An 8Gb full of Music, Photos and .cab files, a 2Gb full of films and a 1Gb which use as a backup for very favourite items. I switch between them on a daily basis.

Also, the time difference between copying data with a card reader, or having to pull them through ActiveSync is so far apart that non removable storage remains out of the question.

I have seen numerous comparision photos between the iPhone and other devices (either Windows Mobile or Symbian devices). What always catches my attention immediately is how vibrant the iPhone's display. Why can't we have a Windows Mobile device with a display like the iPhone? Is the iPhone's display using a totally different technology than all the other latest Windows Mobile phones?

I have the IPAQ 4700 and its screen is definitely comparable to the iPhone's screen.
