    Managing Files using Briefcase

Here is a question I recieved from a Verizon Data Consultant.

I've got another one for you.  I'm working with a customer who has a Samsung i-760.  The customer is trying to open and manage their files on their memory card using Briefcase on their PC.  The customer is able to view the files, but unable to open the files when the device is connected through USB.  If they take the card out, and use a card reader than they are able to manage the files.  Do you know of any solution for the customer to be able to use the USB cable instead.

I don't know Briefcase, but there is 3rd party software that might work here.

Softick Card Export will treat your storage card as a USB device.

From what I can tell, Briefcase needs to be installed on both machines being synchronized - typically a laptop and a desktop PC. I haven't seen any information about Briefcase existing for WM. Wouldn't ordinary file synchronization through the desktop file sync folder in ActiveSync or WMDC work?

Softick Card Export is the only way that I know of, besides buying a USB MicroSD reader
