msm issue

Is there a way to turn off the notification that a text message has been sent from the MotoQ? I received mine today and have tried toggling with the notification area, but it is not working. Any ideas?

Welcome josh19p7 - if you go to Start, System Tools, Settings, Sounds - then scroll down, you will find the box for the New text message - you can select 'None' as the sound.
