    Reply field

In addition to the reply field not working on WM Pro, does it need to be so wide? I have to side-scroll with it a lot on my Tablet PC. The resizer thing only works vertically.

There are also issues using the reply function on Safari on the Mac. The special formatting (wysiwyg?) bars etc don't load - so you have to do raw HTML into the reply.

    Lucky I'm fluent in HTML-foo ;)

    Re: Reply field

It has always looked like this, however when I used firefox, I got a formatting toolbar etc etc. When in Safari, anything I type will end up clumped together unless I manually insert HTML code for paragraphs etc. As an example, this is a new paragraph - but when I hit Post, it will be clumped in with the first paragraph.

Now if I use HTML code (specifically <p> and </p>) I can use paragraphs

    Like this.

    Re: Reply field

    All -

Thanks for the continued testing of the site! We really appreciate it. We've got both the "Reply" issues and the Mac issues logged for our Web developers. I have to say I, too, have been less than thrilled with the mobile-optimization and Mac functionality of a couple of things on the site (I run both Mac and PC, and on the weekends I'm often reading from my HTC S620). We definitely want to get everything running more smoothly. Stay tuned, and you should start seeing these improvements...

Great - thanks so much Bill - your constant and prompt response to all these teething problems is very impressive.

    Re: Reply field

    Thanks Bill,

The other thing I've noticed is that if you set the auto-notify option to Plain Text, there are no line breaks at all in the email that gets sent - kind of like the formatting issue here.

Maybe my Unix time is getting the better of me here, but I rarely use HTML email at all, so my preference is for Plain Text all the time!

    Re: Reply field

Wow, that's impressive! And it got me thinking about the whole idea of browsing complex sites while mobile. I started a new thread with a poll on this idea.
