I have been running the beta for a couple of weeks now. Interestingly, even though I am based in the UK, I do not need the en-US language settings. Definitely try this out. I have a SkyDrive but the automatic sync feature here is the deal breaker. And it is a handy free 5gb of online storage.

Hey, Kris - I'm a big fan of MSDN, and I found the Live Mesh team blog here . It's got a nice discussion of how it all works, although not necessarily all the details of what, when, or how.

I'm not getting a lot of good information about the Live Mesh team's WM client. Since Apple announced MobileMe (.mac 2.0) I'm curious how this will compare. Anyone got ideas?
