Yep... it's more or less the same here. When I plug in a device, Vista hangs for a minute or so before it understands what happened. Vista is painfully slow at some times, but at least it doesn't keep bluescreening like XP did.

Has anyone else noticed that the performance on a Vista machine (x86 or x64) is very bad? Whenever i connect a device the PC literally crawls and I have to wait for it. My workaround is that I have a VMWare installation with XP and connecting/syncing/browsing the device is pretty fast (like a normal...
