  • Voice Command has stopped announcing and confirming

I've had my T-Mobile Wing (Windows Mobile 6.1) for several months, and I've particularly enjoyed the Voice Command feature, worked great. Just today, I noticed it had stopped working. In particular, what has happened is the Voice command is no longer confirming with any audio whatsoever. What...

  • Re: Who uses Voice Command?

Successful Voice Command recognition also depends a lot on the quality of your Bluetooth radio, memory, and processor. The HTC Prophet and latest Kaiser have decent bluetooth radios and get great voice recognition. Many other especially older devices weren't very good at transmitting and translating...

  • Who uses Voice Command?

I just picked up a copy of Voice Command for Smartphones, and I like it. I'm still having issues with my Jawbone, but I think it's more user error than anything. What are some good tips for a VC newb?

  • Re: The Coolest Applications for Windows Mobile?

Here at Raspberry we spend more time developing rather than using! I tend to use the dev tools more than anything else (remote registry edit, remote process viewer end so on). I'm just happy with the way everything works together on my phone - calls, email, and the ability to surf if I need to. Voice...

Well my must have apps consist of Spb Mobile Shell, Sprite Backup, Pocket Informant 8 and Voice Commander. The BT Headset by Blueant the V1, I'm really excited to see how this will work with Voice Commander since the V1 has true voice user interface.

Agreed, Voice Command should be integrated in more apps. Curious that Live Search has its own built-in voice recognition rather than taking advantage of Voice Command if it is installed on device. Wonder how much duplicate code I have on my device because I have both applications. Related to this, though...

Totally with you on the fact that Voice Command is the bee's knees. Check out this post: http://www.chrisrue.com/funcave/2007/06/a-mobile-app-gets-whacked.html OK yeah, I'm mostly talking about BCM on PocketPC and why it got the heave-ho from my Treo. But don't miss the part where I talk...

  • Re: What would you like to see in Windows Mobile?

Not sure I even understand the point of technonath's...errr, point. Haven't we seen everything before...somewhere else on teh Intarweb? Prolly. Does that mean that another conversation about a subject is a waste of time? Not at all. The Connect site referenced by technonath is actually specifically...

Actually, I think Voice Command is really cool. I like Spb Mobile Shell and using Version, and wondering how I could get it to only appear rather than having to drop to the Today Screen and firing it up. Problem is, the security policy on the device requires a password and it seems Spb Mobile Shell doesn't...
